starkers part 2

So, I got the feeling maybe some people wouldn't understand my last blog, so I'll clarify. I love my boyfriend dearly, he's great, he's just...different in conlficting ways, but he's terrific. I joined sparkpeople, so now i know how my dieting is going. I eat so much FAT, i never realised, so i've gotta watch that or i'll get nowhere, I love this website though.
Had an uneventful weekend but I did a lot of relaxing, which was really good cos I'm dog tired. Will write more tomorrow or day after, gotta get me to bed cos I've got a long day tomorrow.

Hi Tash - thanks for the advice on the abs video, I may have to give that a try!

As for your previous post about your boyfriend - I just wanted to say... my mother is married to a man that just doesn't do that romantic stuff, and they've been together for 30 years, yet every holiday, birthday etc. she still hopes that this time it will be different - that this one time he'll surprise her with a trip to Paris or something - but it never happens... and she's constantly dissappointing herself. So I guess I'm just saying - make absolutely sure that him not being romantic isn't going to bug you terribly further down thr road - and that he has plenty of other qualities that will still make up for it 30 years from now...

Thanks Tash for the comment on my blog! I totally needed some encouragement after the way I felt and I can't thank you enough for it!

As for the previous post, I understand what you're saying about your boyfriend. Sometimes people have qualities that don't fit expectations or stereotypes but are special none the less. Sometimes my idea of romantic is the mundane. Maybe he never brings you roses for no reason but when that person is willing to go get gas in your car when you're too tired or lazy to do it yourself, that's romantic.
